Olivia's friend, Jane Seymour, presents Olivia with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Industry Dance Awards 2019.
Jane introduces a montage of Olivia's career highlights and cancer campaigning. Olivia and Jane have known each for 38 years. In a separate interview, by Extra, Jane spoke of how she first met Olivia. In 1976 she shared a house with Olivia's sister, Rona, and Jane's father delivered Rona's son, Emerson. During Jane's Green Card interview in the 70s she vouched, informally, for Olivia Do not worry about her. She will not be a problem for the State.
Olivia, on receiving her award, speaks how she has always loved and admired dancers. Her sister Rona trained to be a ballet dancer but Olivia thought she had two left feet until she trained with two great iconic teachers - Gene Kelly and John Travolta. She jokingly boasts to the audience dancing with John Travolta and Gene Kelly - excuse me!
Olivia thanks the IDA and Dancers Against Cancer for their sizeable donation to her Cancer and Wellness Centre. Talking of her Wellness Centre treatments she says we have to put dance in there I now realise.
