A fun interview with some amusing questions put by Charlie Pickering. Olivia, talking about her cancer diagnosis, thinks she has got one more rara left
in her before she takes things easy and concentrates on her ONJCCWA (rara = special event). This interview was just before her hospitalisation with a broken sacrum that unfortunately put back any hopes for this rara.
Olivia is asked her:
Favourite Aussie icon - Nicole Kidman or Keith Urban - Keith. He was Olivia's friend before Nicole and they wrote together at a South France songwriting retreat.
Favourite Queen - Her Royal Highnesss or Rupaul - a tie.
Favourite religious figure - Pope John Paul the Second or Santa - the Pope.
Olivia tells how thrilled she was to meet Pope John Paul II. (this was in 2000 a nice article here). Charlie jokes that the Pope went back to Vatican and thanked God saying I met Olivia Newton-John.
Olivia laughs but she is under no illusions, she doubts very much that he knew who she was.
