Here we get to hear a duet between Olivia and British folk singer Billy Bragg of If Not For You. On the face of it an unlikely match but both have performed Bob Dylan's song, albeit in different ways. Olivia takes care to match her pitch to that of Billy's as he plays the guitar. At the end Billy points to Olivia and says once a star always a star,
then referring to himself, once a busker always a busker!
Another highlight is the presence of expert Justin Rowlatt who has brought in lots of information about Olivia's father's time at Bletchley Park during the War. Olivia mentions that yesterday would have been Brinley's 99th birthday. Justin has a signed program from the play By Candlelight
that Brinley starred in back in November 1945. A handsome man, he also starred as Mr Darcy in a production of Pride and Prejudice. In addition as a member of the Bletchley Park Operatic Society Brinley played The Count in the Mariage de Figaro.
The One Show play a probable recording of him singing, at the time BBC radio broadcasted this play to the nation. Olivia is delighted to have copies of the program, recording and photo.
