A meaty Bitsy episode. Standing at the Church pew, Bitsy puts her gum on the microphone. She quotes the Bible and ten commandments at the congregation and calls them hypocrites for convicting her. At this point Glyndora admits to starting the fire by smoking cigarette and falling asleep after committing adultery. Bitsy says to the congregation I rest my case
puts the chewing gum back in mouth and leaves.
There follows some touching scenes between Bitsy (Olivia) and Peggy (Rue McClanahan). Amusingly Peggy asks Bitsy if she is a lesbian, to which Bitsy replies I don't like labels I just go with the flow if you know what I mean?
They visit Bitsy's mother's grave and Peggy explains why she could not keep her promise to Bitsy's mum to look after Bitsy when she died. She was too scared of Bitsy's violent daddy. Peggy wants to make up for lost time and asks if Bitsy will let her. Bitsy replies I'll let you
and they hug.
