Olivia and John Farrar speak about the loss of musician Billy Thorpe who had just died from a sudden heart attack. The interview was recorded in Olivia's home with footage from the ARIAs and Olivia's 2002 TV special. Olivia heard the news via a phone call from her sister whilst she was driving and she had to pull over in shock.
Olivia describes how he was larger than life and very positive; the life and soul of the party. John Farrar talks about how he gave out that energy to everybody around him and his great guitar playing. Olivia's fondest memory of Billy was singing with him on her duet "2" album together and presenting her ARIA to her. Both Olivia and John agree that he was a great friend to both of them and are close to tears by the end of this short interview.
