This could have been Olivia's comeback album after a long hiatus. It was her last album aimed squarely at the pop market which had changed rapidly while she had been away, and it didn't achieve the success it deserved. The gap had been too long.
The photo was shot "in the hills of Malibu, with all [Olivia's] animals - a great beautiful day" as reported in the booklet with the 40th Anniversary Japanese CD boxset
