Olivia plays an intellectual, peace-loving mother with Marc Jordan (Amy Sky's husband) playing the father. Their naive son becomes an overnight sensation with his hockey prowess. However, his pacifist upbringing brings him into conflict with the game of hockey and the team’s coach who encourages the players to fight.
This is a musical which is more operatic in style as opposed to having the dialogue stopping as the cast bursts into song. There was a CD of the soundtrack released on which Olivia contributes.
The movie earned some decent reviews in Canada as feel-good, family fun and was released in Canadian theatres in October 2010. It failed to cause much of a stir elsewhere, partially due to the fact that it's all about the unique Canadian hockey game.
It was also released on DVD in The Netherlands in 2014.
