Released on CD for its 40th anniversary Olivia's second Greatest Hits compilation. This version incorporates all the tracks from the various 1982 Greatest Hits releases around the world. The tracks have been remastered from the original master tapes.
The CD comes with a lovely booklet with a personal message from Olivia, a great bio, lyrics and photos. A great addition are the chart positions and details of Olivia's single releases in US, UK and Australia.
There are some extra photos, by Herb Ritts, from the original album sleeve photo shoot not included before which are wonderful - subtly sexy. Personally, I don't like the wording ONJ
on the photos in the booklet and the photo reproduction quality varies.
It was originally certified Double Platinum by the RIAA in the US and Platinum in the UK, where it peaked at No. 8 with a 38 week chart run. This 2023 release reached number 12 in the Australian album (ARIA) charts.
There was also a vinyl edition of the Olivia's Greatest Hits Vol 2 - Deluxe Edition released.
