This Japanese double CD compilation, with tracks chosen by Olivia's Japanese fans. It includes the previously unreleased track Come On Home (making the track count 41). Just for the inclusion of Come On Home it is worth the original price. It's also a nice selection of Olivia's hits and lesser known tracks. However, the CD now being out of print the value of this release has risen considerably!
Come On Home is thought to have been originally recorded in the mid 70s, during the recording of the Have You Never Been Mellow album.
The other thing of note is that the CDs are made of SHM-CD (Super High Material CD), fully compatible with all CD players. SHM-CD utilizes a polycarbonate material originally developed for LCD screens, and the enhanced transparency of the SHM-CD results in more clarity, depth and definition of sound.
You can notice the difference to the regular CD when playing on a good quality music system. However, it is the skill in the remastering process which is of more importance than the material the CD is made from! The Japanese do not disappoint in this regard.
