Profile in courage

Olivia Newton-John is many things: Grease sensation, pop singer, devoted mother, Australian icon. She’s also a survivor of breast cancer. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Olivia’s survival can be credited to recent innovations in breast cancer research as well as heightened public awareness-the force of information that led her to conduct regular breast self-examinations, seek prompt medical attention and make informed decisions concerning her health and well-being. Inside, she speaks frankly about her brave battle, a threat all women and the men who love them must face.
