Olivia Takes The Plunge
90sWhile she calls him her "Prince charming" it was strictly business when Olivia Newton-John caught up with Prince Albert of Monaco for a forthcoming episode of the Nine Network's Wild Life.
To screen on Thursday May 16 Olivia and the prince don snorkel and mask to look at Monaco's Marine Sanctuary, which his father Prince Rainer, set up 20 years ago. Prince Albert is patron of the sanctuary, which offers a protected environment for the local fish population and precious red coral of the Mediterranean.
Talking to Olivia in the grounds of Monaco Royal Palace, the prince says his passion for exploring underwater helps him forget life on the surface.
It's such a total change of environment,
he says. The sanctuary has been extremely successful. due to artificial reefs being dropped on the seabed, the fish population has increased bifold.
Olivia filmed the report with Prince Albert late last year.
