Olivia in Australia, shopping for [stock for] new enterprise Koala Blue

Olivia Newton-John is in Australia, visiting her parents and shopping for Koala Blue the import shop she’ll be opening in Los Angeles next month. The store will feature such Down Under specialities as hand-knit designer sweaters (which will reportedly sell here for $400!), opal jewelry, plus books and miscellanea.

Interestingly, though Olivia has lived in America for 10 years, she’s still a favorite in her homeland, where locals refer to her fondly as “Our Livvy.”

They speak much, much less fondly of Helen Reddy, who’s become an American citizen and has occasionally spoken negatively about her Australian native land.

In fact, one could accurately say that in many Aussie circles, Helen Reddy’s name is mud.
