The people at MCA were thinking ahead when they put this package together. Add Heart Attack as Olivia’s current hit, and it happened almost immediately on release.
Producer John Farrar has chalked up an impressive track record in his association with Olivia, the vehicle for his material becoming hits i.e. Hopelessly Devoted To You; her duet with John Travolta of You’re The One That I Want; with Cliff Richard on Suddenly; and Magic. Also includes Xanadu and her biggie. Physical.
The magic, of course, comes from the Soundtracks of Xanadu and Grease. MCA would appear to be the only company putting forth a real effort to swing retailers into believing that cassettes are moneymakers as well. They are marketing the cassette of this release, attached to album graphics and they’re getting front line stocking.
The label has also introduced their gift giving sticker, Your Best Gift Value, which also supplies the important information that Heart Attack is included on the album.
