Two swinging, good looking, filthy rich adults who are each capable of greatness… here turn in merely average selections.
Livvy’s new single isn’t nearly so bad - all the pieces of production are peachy, flawlessly paced, hooks well spaced - but it comes as a disappointment after the epiphany of ‘Physical’. After language, the explicit ‘Physical’ the corny trail of metaphors in ‘Landslide’ - romance represented in cold winds, rainbows, and indeed a landslide of some considerable displacement - is just not rude enough. Fetishists could always pore over the pic sleeve - Livvy’s smart new haircut (a world of difference) emphasized with a trendy headband.
