Olivia

Olivia's Marvelous Love Story
They've been together for 5 years Olivia's wonderful romantic story - "Olivia wants a traditional marriage; if this first union doesn't last, she'll be even more reluctant about a second marriage..."
If we rely on the last scene of the very popular film "Grease", Olivia Newton-John looks like a "vamp", a femme fatale. Very tight black satin pants, a tight blouse, curly blond hair and a provocative mouth, this Sandy, aka Olivia, is very attractive. And she spares no effort to attract men. Always alluring and friendly at the sight of a handsome man. And at the sight of a woman like Sandy, few men can resist temptation.
But did this last scene show us the true personality of Olivia Newton-John? No, really not. You will never catch Olivia dressed like that.
She walks around, in jeans and a white t-shirt or in white overalls. She's more like the girl you might meet on the street or at the local movie theater, not the one you'll see with different men from one party to another, in Hollywood.
She looks more like the Sandy at the beginning of the film, a naive and good little girl, than the Sandy in the last scene.
Animals And The Great Outdoors
Olivia has none of the looks and tastes of movie stars. She thoroughly enjoyed her experience in "Grease," her first film, but didn't change a thing in her life after its success. There was no way she would have become an eccentric woman. She remained the same, an Olivia who likes to enjoy life to the fullest, and who takes good care of her physical and mental health.
And to enjoy her life and maintain her health, Olivia has always spent a great deal of energy, which brings her abundant pleasure, on her farm and her beloved animals. She spends most of her time outdoors, horseback riding, playing with one of her dogs, or feeding her cats.
When she was young, she dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. And if her singing career had led nowhere, she would have continued studying to be a veterinarian.
There is nothing more relaxing for her, after a hard day's work in the studio or after a long tour of shows, than finding herself on her ranch. There, she finds sunshine and rest in good company. And this good company doesn't mean a man by her side, but seven horses, five dogs, and two cats.
Her ranch is located on 5 acres of land in the hills of Malibu, California. From this haven of rest, she has a wonderful view of the Pacific Ocean.
Two Men In Her Life
As surprising as it may seem, the beautiful Olivia, aged 29, admits to having loved only two men in her life. And even more surprising, to learn that she has never lived in a house with either of these two men.
She will live in a house with a man, when she is married to this man. Olivia is very attached to the old traditions, namely to stay and to fully love a man, only to be married once.
She is very romantic, and for nothing in the world would she want to be disappointed. When she does get married, it will be for real.
It won't be a question of divorce after five years of marriage, but of a long and enriching love story. So, she's been thinking about the possibility of getting married and having a child for several years.
And her mind seems more or less made up. She's anticipating marriage with the man who has shared her life (and not her house) for five and a half years, the handsome Lee Kramer.
But why is Olivia so reluctant about marriage? When she was 11 years old, her parents separated. This separation affected Olivia greatly. And she has always promised herself that she would not make the same mistake as her parents, and thousands of other couples. She wants to have a child with a man she loves, and a man she can have by her side until her death.
She wants a traditional marriage, so rare in our modern society. And if her marriage disappointed her, she would be even more reluctant and worried about a second wedding ceremony.
Over the years, Lee Kramer, her Prince Charming, seems to have adopted the same philosophy as Olivia. At first, Lee really wanted to move into an apartment with Olivia. But Olivia made it clear, after several discussions, that she didn't see it that way.
They could spend nights, days, or weekends together, but there was no question of Olivia moving her home to Lee's apartment, or vice versa.
Olivia owns her ranch, and Lee has an apartment in Los Angeles. And it's a good thing that this is so, because in five years of relationship, our two lovebirds have separated seven times.
Just imagine the moves that these separations would have entailed! And during these numerous separations, Olivia has never took advantage of this freedom to go out with other men. Lee, on the other hand, did take advantage of it a little.
Lee Kramer is 26 years old, that is to say, he is a little younger than the friendly Olivia. But age doesn't change much in their relationship. She doesn't feel older, like she has lived more than Lee.
Like Olivia, Lee was born in Great Britain. They met in 1973, while Olivia was on vacation in Monaco. Lee was in the Principality of Monaco for business. He was working for his family's company, importing cowboy boots.
He quit his job to take care of Olivia and her career. Thus, he became Olivia's lover and manager.
At the request of Helen Reddy, godmother of the Aussie colony in Hollywood, Olivia and Lee moved to California.
England brings back good memories for Lee and me. We will definitely move back there one day,
Olivia confides.
As Olivia's manager and lover, Lee is continually close to Olivia's life. And it is because of this that Lee and Olivia have separated several times.
There comes a time when it is impossible to live too close. But their love always brings them together again. And when the couple sees that they are getting too close, they part ways for two or three days, before another breakup appears again. After many breakups, they know how to see them coming, and Lee and Olivia try as much as possible to avoid them.
Before falling in love with Lee, Olivia had dated a British musician named Bruce Welch for five years. He was the guitarist for the band The Shadows.
Olivia Has Calmed Down.... Olivia has put away her crinolines and leather jacket to embrace her true identity: that of a talented Australian singer whose musical notes seamlessly blend rock and country. Since her fiancé Lee Kramer has been managing her career, Olivia can feel confident she's in good hands, and the successes are only set to keep coming. The sentimental ballad is her first choice.
Photocaptions:
1: She's an outdoorsy, healthy girl. You never see her hanging around Hollywood bars and nightclubs.
2: At 29, thanks to her first film, "Grease," with her partner, John Travolta, she's a huge success all over the world.
3. She's pretty, "cute," but she's tired of being told that. She's a singer first, not an actress. She wants to change that small-town image.
4: Olivia practices a song in her sunny Malibu home, a stone's throw from the Pacific Ocean.
