Come on Over album review

“Come on Over,” Olivia Newton-John (MCA-2186).

Here’s the other end of the country spectrum from Freddie Hart. This isn’t as sickeningly sweet as Ms. Newton-John can be.

Best songs are her vesion of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” and the title song, “Come on Over.” Her arrangement of “Greensleeves” leaves something to be desired, as does her rendition of “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain”. Still, it’s a nice album.
