Olivia Newton-John, I will confess now, when Olivia came on the scene a while back, I thought “Oh no, another recruit for the bubblegum brigade.” But, I will admit now I think she’s great. You can’t really class her voice. You can’t call her country seeing that she was born hundreds of miles from Nashville.
Rock? Not really. Too good for all that screaming. Her voice cures my headaches, heartaches and lulls me to sleep happily. Her voice almost breaks with emotion then there is an incredible strength to it.
