What indeed am I doing listening to Olivia Newton-John?
Enjoying myself is what. She is not what people expect of me, nor is she quite what I expected. In fact, a couple of the tracks really grabbed me and I will have to squeeze her into the collection for these alone.
She is far better than I remember her being, and carries four sides and a variety of pieces effortlessly, often making a very satisfying personal thing of a tune which revives because of the treatment.
It is a good album.
