Singer To Appear At Livestock Show

Arthur Godfrey and vocalist Olivia Newton-John, who was voted best female country vocalist of the year at the Country Music Awards Oct. 14, will join comedian Bob Hope and Roy Rogers and Dale Evans in appearances at the 75th International Livestock Exposition in Chicago Nov. 27-Dec. 3.
Godfrey, riding his long maned stallion Goldie, will appear Dec. 2 and 3 in a one-man, one-horse show of dressage.
Hope will appear Nov. 27 and 28, while Roy and Dale will appear with the World Championship RCA Rodeo Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.
Miss Newton John, a Welsh born Australian whose hits include “If Not for You” and “If You Love Me (Let Me Know)”, will perform Nov. 29.
Up to 300,000 persons are expected to attend the Diamond Jubilee of the International Livestock Exposition, which celebrates 75 years of progress in animal production.
