Olivia Newton-John starts out her solo album with Kris Kristofferson’s Me and Bobby McGee and winds it up with a plaintive rendition of No Regrets.
Other high points of worthwhile program: Banks the Ohio, If Not For You, Lullaby, and Gordon Lightfoot’s If I Could Read Your Mind.
It’s a fresh and exciting approach to folksinging.
