The sounds of today from the Toomorrow

POP-PICKERS everywhere today you must welcome a group who are determined to play the sounds of tomorrow.

“What group?” you ask. Answer: Three guys and a gal called… for it, wait Toomorrow.

Why the double O Because this combo is licensed to kill-they’ll slay you with a sound that’s all their very own.

Blonde

The gal is delicious Olivia Newton-John green-eyed blonde with a skin she calls “buttery” and you really can tell the difference.

But, what makes this group so special in spite of Olivia’s obvious eye appeal?

Well, for a start, they’re backed by Harry Saltzman, of James Bond and Battle of Britain fame. And Don Kirshner, who gave the Monkees their first taste of silver-plated bananas is also behind them.

The London based group’s first disc is out today, an extravagant fanfare called “You’re My Baby Now.”

Messrs Saltzman and Kirshner scoured the world for the four.

Olivia who just happens to be the girlfriend of ex-Shadow and showbiz man Bruce Welch they found in London.

Then they got hold of Tom Jones’ ex-pianist Vic Cooper he recorded with Tom on “Delilah.” Karl Chambers was discovered playing alongside Stevie Wonder, and Ben Thomas was grabbed from Cairo, Georgia. Rolled into one, the foursome were called Toomorrow. Later they were featured in a film called, naturally, Toomorrow.” which will get its world premiere at the London Pavilion next month

Title

Already the country has been splashed with huge coloured pictures of the four, and if promotion goes for anything, then they’ve got it made, And, although they might not quite live up to the title coined for them the pop group of the 70’s-it’s difficult to see how Kirshner, a man who has never been wrong yet with his selection of groups and their songs can be wrong this time.

But Judge for yourself why not buy the dice pop-spotters…like Toomorrow!
