Sunnyside Up appearance

REGULAR new face for HSV-7’s Sunnyside Up - Olivia Newton-John pictured here with compere Bill Collins. The school-girl singer will make guest appearances in the show as her studies permit.

Olivia, who is aged 15, was asked to become a regular Sunnyside Up artist following the success of her second appearance on the show (July 10).

She has already made a number of TV TV appearances and won a trip to Europe with £150 spending money in Johnny O’Keefs’s programme Sing Sing Sing.

At present Olivia has no plans to take her trip overseas until she has completed her studies. She is studying for her Leaving Certificate at University High School, Melbourne.

A folk singer, she says she has not based her style on anyone, but her favorites are Andy Williams, Ray Charles and Harry Belafonte..
