The Australian superstar revealed earlier this year that, amazingly, her cancer tumours had shrunk through cannabis treatment in the US. “I choose to stay positive as your mind is just as important a part of your healing as any treatment,” the 71-year-old tells WHO of her cancer fight. “We are not just a body, we are mind and spirit. It isn’t always easy but it’s a decision! My husband [John Easterling] always says, ‘Be careful what your mind is thinking, because your body is listening!’” Newton-John says she is proud of her Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre in Melbourne and especially of her daughter, Chloe Lattanzi. “She has come through adversity with courage and strength,” Newton-John says. “She is my most important contribution to the planet.”
