Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta recreate Grease in touching scenes
GREASE fans got chills as John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John revisited their characters – 41 years after the film’s release.
The Hollywood legends relived those Summer Nights when they dressed up as Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson for a singalong.
The pair, who debuted the iconic outfits for the first time since the film came out in 1978, sent fans wild at their “Meet N Grease” event in Florida’s West Palm Beach.
Never a Beauty School Dropout, actress Olivia 71, made an entrance in her demure yellow cardigan and skirt.
Later in the evening she ditched the prim look for a leather jacket and skin-tight black leggings. Olivia walked hand-in-hand with Travolta, 65, who dressed in a classic black leather jacket and jeans.
Hopelessly Devoted aficionados got to sing along to the high school romance’s legendary soundtrack on Friday. They also chatted to the famous Pink Lady and T-Bird gangs during a Q&A session afterwards.
Mother-of-one Olivia is currently undergoing therapy for stage four breast cancer. The Australian actress was first diagnosed with it in 1992.
She was given the all-clear after gruelling treatment including chemotherapy and a partial mastectomy.
However, the cancer returned in 2013, again in 2017, and has spread to her spine. Olivia is now an advocate for medical cannabis and has called for it to be available to patients worldwide.
