It was history in the making last Sunday night when popular 70s and 80s singer Olivia Newton-John performed her first ever concert in Malaysia at the Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands.
Newton-John gave an inspiring performance to the over 4,000 fans who turned up to hear her sing old favourites and new tunes too.
Looking fit and trim, the radiant star - now pushing 59 - was very sporting, and sang, danced and chatted with the audience effortlessly.
After the show, Newton-John was thrown an appreciation party with her artiste entourage and event production crew from Jojo Events at Genting’s own The Olive Restaurant.
Alan Teo, executive vice president of Resorts World Berhad, was also on hand to make the artiste comfortable and at home.
Needless to say, Newton-John liked the food and even gave the chefs behind the scene her thumbs up!
