Born in England and raised in Australia, Olivia Newton-John is now known the world over for her many talents, though her most beloved attribute is her voice. After a string of number one singles and Grammy Awards, she became an official American icon with her roles and soundtrack work in the films Grease, Xanadu, and Two of a Kind. Following these career gems, she took time to have a family, start a business, and later fought a battle with breast cancer.
After her full recovery, she has returned to the spotlight touring the world over and gracing the stages of the Olympic Games and VH1 Divas Live. She continues to delight audiences old and young with her hits on a tour performing with symphonies across the continent. She will perform an electrifying evening of music with the Augusta Symphony at the Bell Auditorium on Thursday, October 30, at 8 p.m.
