OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN
Olivia became an international household name in her role as Sandy’ in the 1978 hit musical, Grease, where she starred opposite John Travolta. After a career spanning over 30 years, Olivia has come a long way from her humble beginnings when she was discovered at a talent contest hosted by rocker Johnny O’Keefe.
In 1998 Olivia returned to the stage with Sir Cliff Richard to tour Australia. She then teamed up with John Farnham and Anthony Warlow in the sell out show The Main Event, followed by a European and US.A. tour.
By far the country’s most loved female singer, Olivia Newton-John, is delighted to return home to perform at RVIB Carols by Candlelight for the first time.
