Dinah Shore hosted Olivia and some of the Grease stars in this Grease extravaganza. Olivia is first on, followed by Dody Goodman (Blanche), Didi Conn (Frenchie), Frankie Avalon, Eve Arden (Principal McGee) and finally Jeff Conaway (Kenickie). They look back on the 50s especially fashion and play clips from Grease.
Dinah loves Olivia's new hairstyle and they talk about the 50s during which Olivia was very young. Given the choice between Miss popular, Miss intellectual or Miss misunderstood, to describe her school experience, Olivia chooses Miss misunderstood. She explains that she was the youngest in her class and the divorce of parents when it was uncommon made it difficult.
A wonderful, hilarious segment follows with Dody Goodman trying on some of the 50s fashion. This is utter chaos! Dody puts on some of the clothes live on set, including a girdle. Olivia tries to help her, shielding her modesty from the audience as she undresses. This makes you laugh no matter how many times you see it!
