Great Walk to Beijing

Some new people join the Walk, such as Dannii Minogue who sports a regional
hat with Olivia, and Amy Sky, seen in the group picture.
John Easterling addresses the crowd on Day 6, telling them he must leave the
Walk to go back to the States. The condition of his sister-in-law Vivian,
who was
diagnosed with a brain tumor 3 years ago, is deteriorating quickly. John told
the walkers that he felt he should be with his brother to offer his support
at this time of need.
The group was silent and clearly distressed; the real purpose of the Great
Walk to Beijing could not have been made clearer.
