November 17 Nashville, TN Concert in benefit of Operation Smile
A number of stars came together to perform at this concert in benefit of Operation Smile. After a long hiatus Olivia was singing live again - a treat for fans in 1997. We had last heard Olivia in the Physical concerts in 1983! Olivia sounded good, she got standing ovations from a large body of Olivia fans at the show, and stayed behind for a couple of hours to pose for photos with fans and to sign autographs. She sang "Please Mr Please", "I Honestly Love You", and "You're The One That I Want" with Vince Gill.

Aussie Rugby League Final Sept 20 '97
Olivia sang live in front of 60,000 people at the Australian Rugby League final , together with some of the Aussie cast of Grease. The performance was shown on Australian TV and was a great success.
